Ali putnici koji sa aerodroma Šarl de Gol idu u grad, možda neće morati da brinu o gužvama. Airbus, Aeroports de Paris i Gradski sekretarijat za saobraćaj grada Pariza trenutno razmatraju mogućnost uvođenja letećih taksija koji bi putnike prevozili do grada i uštedjeli im dragocjeno vrijeme koje bi inače utrošili na put. Očekuje se da će tokom Olimpijade biti potrebno preko sat vremena od aerodroma do grada, a leteći taksiji bi to vrijeme značajno smanjili. Zatim slijede brojna testiranja, ali ako sve prođe kako treba i taksiji dobiju potrebne dozvole, posjetioci Olimpijade u Parizu neće morati da brinu o saobraćajnim gužvama od aerodroma do grada. Ukoliko imaju dovoljno novca da sebi mogu da priušte leteći taksi, naravno. Iako za sada nema projekcije cijene ove usluge, Uber, koji je nedavno najavio uvođenje letećih taksija između njujorškog aerodroma JFK i Menhetna, objavio je da će cijena karte u jednom smjeru iznositi 200 dolara.

Projekat letećih taksija koje realizuju Airbus, Pariski aerodromi i grad Pariz može poslužiti kao zanimljiva ideja i drugim gradovima-domaćinima velikih događaja.
