U Arheološkom muzeju Južnog Tirola možete vidjeti najstariju prirodnu ljudsku mumiju “Oci” (Ötzi) staru 5.300 godina. Nakon susreta sa njom, srednji vijek vam može izgledati kao nedavna prošlost. Muzej moderne i savremene umjetnosti (Museion) raspolaže sa 4.500 eksponata. Sama građevina je impozantnih dimenzija sa prednjom i zadnjom fasadom od stakla. Takođe, u gradu su i brojne crkve u stilu romaničke i gotičke arhitekture. Cijeli region je dom stotine zamkova, od kojih je najupečatljiviji obližnji zamak Runkeltajn (Runkeltein), oslikan freskama iz 13. vijeka.

Gastronomska ponuda u Bolcanu je mješavina austrijske i italijanske kulinarske tradicije, ali to ne znači da se u jelovnicima samo nude italijanska tjestenina i austrijske knedle. Rovereto

Otkako se Muzej moderne i savremene umjetnosti Trenta i Rovereta (MART) preselio u grad 2002. godine, privlači ljubitelje umjetnosti iz cijelog svijeta. Dio muzeja “Futuristička kuća umjetnosti” posvećen je umjetniku futuristi Fortunatu Deperu. Zgradom muzeja dominira staklena kupola koja doprinosi posebnoj atmosferi tokom posjete.

Osim umjetnosti, ne treba smetnuti sa uma da je Rovereto bio drevni grad tvrđava koji je stajao na granici između austrijskog Tirola i Italije. Istoimeni dvorac je iz srednjeg vijeka, a obnovljen je pod mletačkom vlašću. U okviru njega se danas nalazi muzej posvećen Prvom svjetskom ratu. Crkva Svetog Marka je iz 15. vijeka, a na njenoj fasadi koralne boje nalazi se skulptura venecijanskog krilatog lava. Spolja može izgledati jednostavno, ali je njena unutrašnjost obložena raskošnim freskama i ukrašena pozlaćenim štukaturama. U ovoj crkvi je kompozitor Volfgang Amadeus Mocart održao svoj prvi javni koncert u Italiji.

Udine
