Zanimljivo je što se skoro trećina mladih širom svijeta nada da će imati priliku da studira ili živi u inostranstvu. Još zanimljivije je što kada su upitani na šta troše novac, 65% mladih je izjavilo da su im prioriteti putovanje i upoznavanje svijeta, koji su se našli ispred ulaganja u visoko obrazovanje, profesionalne obuke, štednje ili kupovine nekretnina.
Mladima je očuvanje sredine važno, pa preko polovine smatra da im je održivi turizam na destinaciji bitan faktor pri izboru, a preko trećine želi da volontira dok putuje. U ovom istraživanju Booking.com-a su učestvovali mladi sa 29 svetskih tržišta (Australije, Njemačke, Francuske, Španije, Italije, Kine, Brazila, Indije, SAD-a, Ujedinjenog Kraljevstva, Rusije, Indonezije, Kolumbije, Južne Koreje, Japana, Novog Zelanda, Tajlanda, Argentine, Belgije, Kanade, Danske, Hong Konga, Hrvatske, Tajvana, Holandije, Švedske, Singapura i Izraela).
