Ali konačno – i to baš usred pandemije, Berlin Brandenburg će uskoro postati stvarnost, olakšavajući saobraćaj u gradu i van grada. Berlin inače u prosjeku godišnje privuče više od 13 miliona posjetilaca. Aerodrom je povezan sa centrom grada Berlina vozom Flughafen Express i željezničkom mrežom Deutsche Bahn. Hotel Steigenberger Airport sa 322 sobe, smješten direktno na terminalu i u neposrednoj blizini željezničke stanice, takođe će biti otvoren 31. oktobra. Hotel pored soba sadrži prostor za sastanke do 500 ljudi, restoran i spa.
Aerodrom će ponuditi i 39 restorana, sa masivnom pijacom Market Place na glavnom terminalu.
